Our home visit was the most wonderful Santa experience I have ever had. Seeing my 3-year-old grandchild’s eyes light up as Santa sang a song just for her, then looking around at the rest of my family laughing and singing along… it actually brought tears to my eyes. That one evening created memories for my entire family that will last a lifetime.

Mr. Tom Long has been Santa to hundreds of students for Butts Road Primary School for the past several years. He is so convincing in his role that even his own children do not recognize him.
Each year our PTA sponsors a Breakfast with Santa for over 500 children. Mr. Long brings the magic of Christmas when he enters the room with his belly laugh and jingling bells. For several hours children are called by name to sit on his lap, tell him their holiday wishes, and pose for photographs.
His patience and gentleness put even the shiest children at ease. He willingly works with parents to get ‘just the right’ picture. He also has an outstanding voice and leads the children in singing of carols for the season.
If you are looking for the ultimate Santa, then look no further, Mr. Tom Long is the best.

I wanted to tell you there was a little boy who did not think he believed anymore, but when I took him back to his Dad, the 1st words out of his mouth were about the special candy cane and bell from Santa’s reindeer. You truly help me bring the visions of magic and lights to the Virginia Beach community and the children who live here.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tom Long for several years. He is Butts Road Primary’s official Santa. Tom’s demeanor along with his wardrobe and music set the scene for a magical program. He is meticulous – his costume exquisite.
The lights are dimmed and a quite falls over the audience. You hear the faint jingle of bells as Santa nears. “Santa Claus is coming to Town” begins to play and he appears at the door. The children cheer. He greets the audience as he passes down the aisle to the stage. He welcomes everyone and tells the children about his sleigh ride. He leads them in singing “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” He has a wonderful voice!
He greets each of the children by name and patiently listens to their Christmas lists for the next two hours. After a short break, he repeats his performance for our second seating. It’s a performance as stunning as his first.
Tom has truly perfected the role of Santa. To see him perform is an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Tom for your holiday activities.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a tremendous “Thank You!” for your home visit in December! All of the children and the adults, too, have such wonderful memories from your visit. Your visits are truly a special part of the Christmas season for us! Logan and Emmery are always amazed when we come to “Evening with Santa” at the Founders’ Inn after your home visit. They just can’t believe that they’re seeing the real Santa again!
